Incomplete, probable single loop copper alloy Medieval buckle consisting of a folded copper alloy plate with three copper rivets for attachment. Two of which have pulled through the plate. One rivet is fixed to both sides of the plate and contains a burr which suggests a possible repair. There is a fragmented central pinbar, probably from a single loop buckle. A folded, sheet copper alloy pin remains in situ. The front of the buckle plate is decorated in a light coloured enamel with a geometric design similar to a snowflake. A Medieval to post-Medieval cast copper-alloy cooking vessel foot (c. 1250-c. 1650). At the front, this foot has a vertical central mid-rib and has a transverse break at the top. The base of the foot is rounded and worn. The object is corroded and has patches of consolidated soot. The break is abraded. This leg was probably originally part of a cauldron. Copper alloy double oval buckle frame with a narrowed triangular-section strap bar. A copper alloy pin which appears to be reused is in situ. The outside edge of each loop is scalloped forming seven foils defined by deep transverse grooves, with slightly shallower transverse grooves between. The frame is concave. Condition is good with a patchy green patina. The reverse face of the buckle is plain and flat. Whitehead dates buckles of this type to circa 1450-1600 AD. Dimensions:Length: 30.46 mm, Width: 30.92 mm, Thickness: 2.52 mm and it Weighs: 6.78 grammes

A worn and corroded iron dove type horseshoe from the medieval period. The branches are unequal in length with one heel tapered. There are three nail holes to each branch which are sub-rectangular with four square headed nails in situ. The nail heads are designed to protrude from the shoe. The shoe is almost flat in plan with the heels inclined upwards, there is no evidence of thickening or calkins. A complete cast copper alloy Post-Medieval dress fastener (c. 1500-1700 AD). The fastener consists of a trapezoidal sewing loop with a sub-rectangular perforation, arroximately 5.1 mm in length. The plate is a five-petalled flower with a central circular depression. Between the flower plate and the hook, there is a small sub-circular perforation; a thin integrally cast rounded hook, semi-circular in cross-section, which tapers to a point. It measures 33.7 in length, 15.5 mm wide, 2.6 mm thick and weighs 3.57 g.
