An incomplete post-Medieval copper-alloy trapezoidal double-looped buckle consisting of the frame only. (c. 1650-c. 1720).
The buckle frame is slightly convex at the front and has a flat rear face which is slightly distorted. In plan, the outer edges are rounded and the sides are slightly concave. The narrowed central bar is rectangular in cross-section with iron staining on the bar and corresponding pin rest. The frame is of plain design with black laquer present over a large area of the frame.

The pin is missing.
It is convex at the front and flat at the rear. The loops are of similar size and shape and the narrowed bar is triangular in cross-section, flat at the rear.
The surfaces are brown with light green corrosion products.

It is convex at the front and flat at the rear. The loops are of similar size and shape and the outer edges are angled to form triangular points. Both loops are steeply bevelled internally. The central narrowed bar is triangular in cross-section.
The surfaces are brown with light green corrosion products.

An incomplete Medieval to post-Medieval cast copper-alloy double-looped buckle (c. 1450-c. 1600).
The pin is missing.
This buckle is convex at the front, flat at the rear and the oval loops are of similar size and shape. The loops are bevelled internally on the upper face. Each outer edge is cusped. The narrowed central bar is triangular in cross-section, flat at the rear.
This buckle is light brown with patches of a green patina at the rear.

An incomplete Medieval cast copper-alloy single loop buckle with expanded outer edges, c. 1350-1400 AD. It consist of a buckle frame, which is sub-rectangular in plan with a separately fashioned copper-alloy sheet roller fitted to the narrowed front edge. The strap bar on the opposite side of the buckle frame is narrowed and offset; there is a central notch in the strap bar possibly due to wear caused by the pin which is now missing. Medieval seal matrix, of Medieval date (c. 1250 - c.1400 AD). The copper alloy seal matrix has a circular die, with a tapering handle. The handle has a hexagonal cross section, and terminates with a sub-trefoil suspension loop, which has a collar beneath. There are no marks on either of the six sides to aid orientation during use. The die depicts four leaves on very short stems, arranged in a quatrefoil design, representing beech leaves. The legend surrounds the design. A fragment of a lead medieval (AD c.1314-c.1500) pilgrim badge missing its head and its pin and catchplate. The fragment measures 22.0mm long, 26.1mm wide and 2.4mm thick. It weighs 5.63g. The complete badge would have shown the head and shoulders of Thomas Becket, copying the Head Reliquary at Caterbury Cathedral (known as the 'Crown' or 'Caput Sancti Thome'. Visible on the fragment are Becket's chest and shoulders. See Spencer, B., 1998, Pilgrim Souvenirs and Secular Badges, p.102-117.

An incomplete cast copper alloy plate brooch dating to the late Early-medieval (Anglo-Scandinavian) period. The brooch is lozenge-shaped with four open cells between the arms of a cross. The ends of the cross's arms are pointed and may be devolved animal head terminals, in the Borre style, each with a V-shaped collar dividing the terminal and the cross's arm. The centre of the cross is raised. On the reverse of the brooch are two short stubs, these being the remains of the double lug for the pin, and a small spike is all that remains of the catch-plate.
