A distorted, worn and corroded copper alloy Medieval harness pendant suspension mount which consists of a horizontally aligned bar of triangular section. At either end of this bar is a narrow transverse ridge which gives way to a perforated lobe on one side arm with a horizontal knop protruding from the end. The arm is bent through nearly 90 degrees. Medieval to early Post Medieval (late 13th to mid 16th century) buckle: The copper alloy double looped oval shaped buckle. The loops are undecorated. The loops expand in width slightly from the strap bar. The reverse is undecorated, and is flat. The strap bar is narrowed, and is a trapezoid in section. In profile the buckle is a wide 'V' shape. At either terminal there is an integral, narrow, circular sectioned arm protruding which tapers to a blunt point. These terminals are also turned downwards. Possible Roman (1st to 4th century) unidentified object: The copper alloy object is a drop shape whose lower tip tapers to a sharp point. The opposite terminal, is waisted with a hemisphere above. The object is circular in section throughout its length. The surface of the object has patches of a heavy light grey/green patina, and patches of abrasion revealing a red/brown surface. It measures 22mm long, 9.48mm diameter and weighs 6.1g. The patina perhaps suggests a Roman date, but the function is unknown.

Medieval cast copper alloy trapezoidal strap loop with separate internal rivet, measuring 14.00 mm x 13.45 mm x 12.49 mm (internal 10.20mm) The top face is decorated with a central radiused bar moulding and incised diagonal lines around its external edge. The loop is corroded with a flaky brown-green patina. An incomplete post-Medieval cast copper-alloy double-looped buckle (c. 1620-c. 1680). Most of one loop is missing. The surviving loop is flat on both faces and the edges are bevelled externally on the upper face. It would have been symmetrical prior to being broken. A complete Roman cast copper-alloy end-looped cosmetic pestle (AD 43-300. This object is curved in form, flat on both faces and has rounded edges. At one end is a circular loop and the curving shaft tapers to a point. The surfaces are pitted and drab green with small patches of dark green patina. Length: 51.7mm; width: 13.6mm; thickness; 3.9mm. Weight: 5.01g. This cosmetic pestle is designed for use in conjunction with a mortar. Similar pestles have been recorded on The Portable Antiquities Scheme database. An incomplete medieval copper-alloy forked spacer from a composite strap end. The spacer has two tapering prongs which form the fork; both prongs are broken and now of differing lengths. The prongs terminate in ragged old breaks and are slightly bent in profile. They converge to form a prominent acorn knop terminal which is nestled within a cup and surmounted on a small collar. The acorn and its cup do not appear decorated. The acorn is of three-dimensional form and crudely fashioned. It is made from dark grey mottled flint. It has three hollows on one side of the flake formed by short, sub-parallel, semi-abrupt retouch. A complete and corroded post-Medieval cast copper-alloy mount (1600-1700). This mount is convex at the front and concave at the rear. It is octagonal in plan and at the front the edges are stepped or rebated. On the rear face at each end there is an integral tapering spike, 'D'-shaped in cross-section. The mount is reddish brown with light green corrosion products. Height: 25.4mm; width: 19.6mm; thickness: 4.1mm; thickness including spikes: 11.3mm. Weight: 6.84g.
