Possible Roman (1st to 4th century) unidentified object: The copper alloy object is a drop shape whose lower tip tapers to a sharp point. The opposite terminal, is waisted with a hemisphere above. The object is circular in section throughout its length. The surface of the object has patches of a heavy light grey/green patina, and patches of abrasion revealing a red/brown surface. It measures 22mm long, 9.48mm diameter and weighs 6.1g. The patina perhaps suggests a Roman date, but the function is unknown.

A complete Roman cast copper-alloy end-looped cosmetic pestle (AD 43-300. This object is curved in form, flat on both faces and has rounded edges. At one end is a circular loop and the curving shaft tapers to a point. The surfaces are pitted and drab green with small patches of dark green patina. Length: 51.7mm; width: 13.6mm; thickness; 3.9mm. Weight: 5.01g. This cosmetic pestle is designed for use in conjunction with a mortar. Similar pestles have been recorded on The Portable Antiquities Scheme database. A Roman copper alloy lion-head mount. It is circular in plan and generally conical in profile. The front surface is moulded decoration in the form of a lions head in high relief. It is formed by three concentric circular ridges, with a further triangular shaped moulding at the apex forming the snout. The lowermost ridge is uneven and undecorated. The second ridge is decorated with a series of incised transverse curving lines representing the mane.
