An incomplete copper alloy horse harness pendant mount of medieval date. The mount is shaped like a bar with a raised horizontal mid rib and flattened, rounded terminals at either end. There is a rivet hole in each terminal. Unusually the terminal ends are slightly recessed from the main bar; in other examples the terminals are on the same plane. The reverse is slightly recessed under the mid-rib. Located in the centre of the lower edge of the mount is there remains of a further element, probably an arm to hold a harness pendant or similar.
