A late Iron Age or Roman copper-alloy mount. The mount is semi-cylindrical in section, rectangular in plan, and has closed ends. The convex surface has a large rib in the centre, with three narrower ribs to either side. An oval opening is located in the centre of the large rib, and this contains the remains of an iron pin or shank. The underside is irregularly recessed, but notably so towards one end. Traces of a white substance, perhaps lead solder, are visible across the recessed area.

A copper-alloy medieval knife hilt plate dating to the period c. AD1100 - 1400. The hilt plate is lozengiform in plan with a broadly oval perforation in the middle. It terminates at one end in an old break. It measures 28.76mm in length, 14.81mm maximum width, 1.21mm minimum width, is 1.15mm thick and weighs 1.49g. The hilt plate is similar in design to nos. 642 & 644 in Read, 2001, pp. 88.

An incomplete copper-alloy T-shaped brooch dating to the early Roman period. The wings are cylindrical in section and both are decorated with two vertical ribs. The pin is missing. Iron corrosion is visible around the terminals. The bow is comma shaped in profile and D-shaped in section. The front is decorated with rib down the centre and a concave channel to either side. The catchplate is intact.

Copper alloy brooch. Cast crossbow brooch, Mackreth type CR 3.1b, cf. Keller Type 1 dated to 290-310 in Bavaria. Cast hinged bow brooch with two integrally cast onion shaped knops at the ends of its arms and a larger knop on top of the wings which retain the stub of a hinged pin in a closed cylinder with rust staining around it. These meet the bow at mouldings which go all around and with additional stop mouldings to the front only for the side arms. Silver object of uncertain function, possibly a Medieval brooch pin, 1200-1350. Cast sub-rectangular section rod with smoothed arises, tapering at one end to a point; the extreme tip may be broken away. The other end bears a slight expansion on either side, producing an outline reminiscent of a thistle head, with a very slightly widened spatulate end which is worn and thereby thinned on one side and slightly bent back on the other. The object is attractively glossed by wear.

Post-medieval copper alloy hooked book clasp with a rivet hole near the fishtail terminal. Punched decoration, all on the half nearest to the hook, consists of fleurs-de-lis, pellets and lozenges and a transverse line, and a triangle and part of another triangle next to one side. The complete one is divided into three, with a fleur-de-lis in each part. At the central point of the object a single pellet lies immediately above the apex. The sides are parallel. Length 39mm. Width 9 - 14.6mm. 16th century.

An incomplete copper-alloy brooch, probably a La Tene III type dating from the Late Iron Age or early Roman period. The object has a flat sub-rectangular body with a shank extending from both ends. Nothing but a stub remains at one end; the other extends circa 16mm and coils rearwards at which point it is broken. The panel is worn, but appears to have very feint linear grooves.

An incomplete copper-alloy oval-shaped buckle frame with offset and narrow bar of Medieval date. It is missing the pin.
The buckle frame is D-shaped in section with a flat back. It has a pointed outer edge, with transverse groove for the pin.
This buckle frame measures 16.74mm in length, 20.16mm in width, 1.89mm in thickness, 1.84g in weight.
There are similar examples from London c. 1350-1400 (Egan and Pritchard, 1991, pp. 75, no. 306-308).

A complete copper-alloy double-looped oval buckle frame of Medieval date.
The frame is D-shaped in section with a slightly expanded outer edge. The bar is central, narrowed and trapezoidal in section with triangular lobes at the junctions of the bar and frame. The copper-alloy pin is still present. It tapers to a point and has an open loop. There are traces of white metal coating on the front face. The back face is undecorated.
This buckle measures 31.79mm in length, 22.32mm in width, 1.93mm in thickness, 3.83g in weight.
