A Post Medeival copper alloy Toy Gun of 17th Century date. The toy has been cast in one piece and has a 'fishtail' butt, faceted barrel (hollow), open pan and rectangular trigger guard. Decorative hatches can be seen on the back of the butt. Length: 107.8mm; width: 28.2mm; weight: 7.3mm thick and weighs 40.7 grams. Several similar toy muskets were found in excavations in London and were dated to the early 17th century, based on their distinctive design (Forsyth and Egan 2005: 89 - 97). An unidentified object as uncertain date and function. The object is made up of circular drop of sealing wax with the remains of an impresson visable in relife. The sealing wax is set into a copper alloy circular plate with beveled edges. The metal appears to be of a post c.AD 1600 date. The object is 29.7mm in diameter, 3.4mm thick and weighs 3.50 grams.

Medieval strap-end, tapered in shape, made from two thin sheets of copper alloy, the front slightly thicker than the backplate, held together at the attachment end by a single separate copper-alloy rivet. No trace of any rivets can be seen at the closed end,which is curved and has a slight central knop. The front sheet is decorated at the attachment end with a crudely made pair of V-shaped grooves which appear to have been made from individual punchmarks. Medieval strap-end made from copper alloy, with a cast central spacer plate and a pair of soldered-on sheet outer plates. The outer plates are oval, with two small copper-alloy rivets in the centre of one of the longer edges. Between these, on both faces of the strap-end, is a decorative circular hole which is crossed by a groove - Egan and Pritchard call this a 'grooved aperture'. An incomplete cast copper-alloy figurine depicting Mars. The figurine is depicted standing, facing forward with its arms raised. There is cast detail for the hair and helmet. There are very fine facial details remaining, inparticular the eye and mouth. The upper torso bulky is and the legs appear to be naked from the knee down. The object is incomplete, missing the ends of the arms and legs, and is heavily corroded which has destroyed much of the original detail.
