A complete copper-alloy rectangular Medieval sword or dagger chape. It is made from sheet metal folded over to form a rectangular tubular shape. It tapers towards the terminal end where it has been flattened and closed. The attachment edge of the front face has two V-shaped notches cut into it. On the back face at the attachment end is a circular rivet hole. This chape measures 27.88mm in length, 12.10mm in width, 9.54mm in thickness, 2.44g in weight. There is a similar example from Suffolk on the PAS database (SF6641).

A complete sheet copper-alloy vessel mend or repair of Medieval date. It is formed from a single lozenge shaped sheet that is folded twice to create a simple rivet. This vessel mend measures 38.09mm in length, 16.43mm in width, 3.73mm in thickness, 10.44g in weight. There is a similar example from London (Egan, 1998, p. 176, no. 489).

An incomplete copper-alloy rectangular Medieval sword or dagger chape. It is missing part of the attachment end due to old breaks, now worn. It is made from sheet metal folded over to form a rectangular tubular shape. It tapers towards the terminal end where it has been flattened and closed. The attachment edge of the front face has two V-shaped notches cut into it. This chape measures 28.87mm in length, 11.91mm in width, 6.27mm in thickness, 2.78g in weight. There is a similar example from Suffolk on the PAS database (SF-25E54B), (SF6641).

Silver coin fragment. Chip from edge of scyphate flan of a silver unit of the Corieltauvi, possibly an issue of VEPO dated AD10-40. This is most likely from ABC no. 1881, which is described as 'Very common' by Rudd et al. 2010; Van Arsdell no. 934, Haselgrove period 3 phase 8. Obverse description: plain. Reverse description: a probably six-pointed star; the interpretation offered envisages this to lie under the tail of a horse right. Diameter (in excess of): 10.7mm, Thickness: 1.9mm, Weight: 0.50gms.

Copper alloy mount. Cast sub-rectangular plate with slightly convergent long edges. Broad borders along the long edges comprise two longitudinal ridges, the outermost billeted. A central zone comprises three longitudinal ridges. Three ring and dot of diameter 2.7mm occur in each of the two fields framed by the ridges; their arrangement is slightly haphazard. The back of the object bears a central sharp-edged gutter of width 4mm which runs at right angles to the borders and features described above. A medieval to post-medieval cast lead circular unifaced token of Powell type 3 (c. AD 1250-1800 The obverse has a raised design of eight straight lines radiating from a pellet at the centre to a raised edging around the around the rim, with a single pellet in each segment. One of the radiating lines extends by approx.0.6mm. The reverse appears to be undecorated Lead tokens had a wide variety of uses and were made locally; they are therefore hard to date precisely and could be Medieval or Post Medieval in date. Diameter: 22.03mm. Thickness: 2.47mm, Weight: 7.12g
