A Roman Q-Radiate of Allectus dating from AD 293-296 (Reece Period 14). VIRTVS AVG reverse type depicts a galley left with mast, cabin, unclear prow, draco on stern-post, 3 poorly cut crew; waves. Mint of London, QL. It measures 20mm in diameter and weighs 2.21g. Cf RIC V part 2; p. 563, no. 55. This coin is included in Sam Moorhead's corpus for RIC.

A worn copper alloy Roman barbarous radiate (a contemporary copy) of an uncertain emperor. The depiction of the emperor's head and face is quite crude, as is the image on the reverse, which appears to depict a figure advancing right, possibly hunting.
