A copper-alloy Roman T-shaped brooch with hinge mechanism dating to AD 50-150. The brooch comprises a bent pin which is attached to hinge mechanism. At the top of the brooch, there are two arms forming a T with the bow. The bow is decorated with a square at the top over the T bar. The design then forms a lattice pattern with three lozengiform recesses. The bow ends in a small foot. In profile, the front of the bow is initially flat and angled from the T bar before angling down and curving to the the foot. An incomplete Roman copper-alloy and enamel zoomorphic plate brooch in the form of a fish viewed in profile. The brooch is a flat pointed oval in shape with the tail and fins now broken off and missing. The front of the brooch carries a recessed design outlining stylized details of a fish such as the eye, gill and scales. A Roman, probable, Polden Hill type brooch (AD c. 80-120): The copper alloy brooch is incomplete, the wings are semi-cylindrical, both of which are missing. A fragment of a copper alloy Roman gilded disc brooch dating to AD 200-350. All that remains of the brooch of the brooch is a section of the front plate. This is decorated with a raised rim and an inner raised circle (there may be further circles in the centre). It may be that the inner circle forms the edge of a bezel (which may have contained a stone). There are traces of gilt in the outer ring. A cast copper-alloy probable top knob from a cruciform brooch of Anglo-Saxon/Early-Medieval date. It is half-round and D-shaped in section with a flat back and domed front face. The terminal end is rounded with a slightly flattened top. There is a transverse groove at the edge of a deep moulded waist.
