The fragment is plain and flat on the reverse and the front carries a moulded design of a facade of buildings with spired towers/turrets and arched windows between. The closest parallel to this fragment identified in Brian Spencer's 'Pilgrim Souvenirs and Secular Badges', 1998, is a pendant in the form of a purse which has a facade of buildings above the purse bar. An incomplete Medieval copper-alloy single loop buckle frame with integral forked spacer, dating from c. AD 1350 - 1450. The buckle loop is oval in plan and a rounded triangle in section, it has a lipped outer edge to serve as a pin rest and a notched recess at the strap bar and between the arms of the forked spacer for taking the pin. A ceramic sherd of a Medieval sandy ware vessel of uncertain type, dating from later 13th-14th century AD. The sherd is fairly flat, making it difficult to attribute it to a particular type of vessel. The outer face seems to have been slipped with a light grey slip and the inner and outer surfaces seem to have been equally orange in colour before the outer face was slipped. The core of the sherd is thick and dark grey in colour. It measures 32.5 mm long, 25.3. mm wide, 6.4 mm thick and weighs approximately 6.6 grams.

A copper alloy strap end of Medieval date. It is formed from two plates and a sheet spacer occupying half the length. The closed end of the strap end terminates in a rounded knop; this knop is attached to the spacer, the two plates are attached to the spacer by a circular rivet. The opposite end of the strap end terminates in an old break which has removed half a circular rivet hole which is now empty. The plates do not appear to be decorated. Strap ends of similar construction in Egan and Pritchard suggest a date of AD 1270 - 1400. L x 40.3mm, W x 10.4mm, Th x 4.1mm, 6.67 grams.
