An incomplete Late Iron Age to Early Roman copper-alloy Langton Down brooch (AD 25-60). The spring and pin and the lower part of the bow are missing. The head has been folded to form cylindrical wings that contained an iron spring. A slot at the rear of the wings accommodated the pin. At each end the wings are incomplete. At the front, between the bow and head, is an arched ridge. The bow is strongly arched in side profile and is 'D'-shaped in cross-section, flat at the rear. Approximately 50% of the brooch is present, consisting of the head, wings and bow. Incomplete and heavily worn copper alloy Roman bow brooch of possible Headstud type. The bow and wings of the brooch survive. The wings are cylindrical and the remains of the axis bar for the hinged pin are encased within. There is a slot for the, now missing, hinged pin in the centre of the reverse of the wings. The bow is semi-circular in section. On the arch of the bow is the probable worn headstud decoration. The pin, catchplate & foot are missing. Brooches of headstud type are typically dated AD c.75-200 and this brooch has been dated in line with these dates.

A fragment of a copper alloy Roman gilded disc brooch dating to AD 200-350. All that remains of the brooch of the brooch is a section of the front plate. This is decorated with a raised rim and an inner raised circle (there may be further circles in the centre). It may be that the inner circle forms the edge of a bezel (which may have contained a stone). There are traces of gilt in the outer ring. An incomplete Roman copper-alloy and enamel zoomorphic plate brooch in the form of a fish viewed in profile. The brooch is a flat pointed oval in shape with the tail and fins now broken off and missing. The front of the brooch carries a recessed design outlining stylized details of a fish such as the eye, gill and scales. An incomplete, early Roman copper-alloy brooch. The brooch appears to be a varient of a spring dolphin or bow and fantail brooch. The wings are semi-cylindrical and are decorated with a narrow rib at each end. In the centre at the back is an incomplete hook. A comma-shaped bow arches from the wings, and this flares onto a lozenge-shaped panel . The sides of the panel are curved, and terminate with a collared bulbous knop on either side. The rib of the bow continues down the centre of the plate. The foot is missing.
