A silver Roman possibly Republican denarius of an uncertain issuer dating to the period 217-27 BC (Reece Period 1). Uncertain reverse type depicting a seated figure left. Uncertain mint.
This coin has been 'hammered out' (pers. comm. Sam Moorhead 27/06/2014) and is now broadly triangular in shape.
