Two Roman ceramic tiles, mid 1st - 4th century: - almost complete, flat, square, on one face an edge-to-edge saltire executed with a ten-toothed comb. The same face is partly covered with opus signinum (mortar containing crushed tile / brick). 215 x 210 x 44mm. Weight 3.6kg. - incomplete, flat, square, with a line on one face scored before firing from one corner to another (missing) one.The same face is partly covered opus signinum. 290 x c.290 x 40mm. Weight 3.8kg.
