Incomplete and heavily worn copper alloy Roman bow brooch of possible Headstud type. The bow and wings of the brooch survive. The wings are cylindrical and the remains of the axis bar for the hinged pin are encased within. There is a slot for the, now missing, hinged pin in the centre of the reverse of the wings. The bow is semi-circular in section. On the arch of the bow is the probable worn headstud decoration. The pin, catchplate & foot are missing. Brooches of headstud type are typically dated AD c.75-200 and this brooch has been dated in line with these dates.

An incomplete Roman copper-alloy and enamel zoomorphic plate brooch in the form of a fish viewed in profile. The brooch is a flat pointed oval in shape with the tail and fins now broken off and missing. The front of the brooch carries a recessed design outlining stylized details of a fish such as the eye, gill and scales. Traces of blue enamel can be seen in the circular recess around the eye and traces of red enamel in the crescent recess for the gill and also along the top and bottom of the body of the fish flanking a chevron pattern representing scales inbetween.
