Lead alloy fragment of a probable Medieval pilgrim badge, secular badge, pendant or similar souvenir type ornament. The fragment is plain and flat on the reverse and the front carries a moulded design of a facade of buildings with spired towers/turrets and arched windows between. The closest parallel to this fragment identified in Brian Spencer's 'Pilgrim Souvenirs and Secular Badges', 1998, is a pendant in the form of a purse which has a facade of buildings above the purse bar. An incomplete copper-alloy button of post-medieval date (17th-century) . The button consists of a flat circular disc, worn around its circumference, with integral attachment loop projecting centrally from its lower surface with a notable casting seam to either side of this. The upper surface of the disc is decorated with an incised ring with central punched dot. Similar examples of this kind of button can be found illustrated in Bailey's 'Buttons and Fasteners', 2004, p.37, see especially figs 8.25 and 8.26.

An incomplete Medieval to Post Medieval cast copper alloy cauldron leg, dating to between AD 1200 and AD 1700. The leg has an old break, and is D shaped in cross-section. The foot has a three-toed design below a lateral collar. The reverse side is flat and plain. The surface is worn and abraded, of a reddish-brown colour with areas of green patina and traces of black residue or lacquer. A similar item is published by Brian Read, History Beneath Our Feet (1995), page 95, No. 591. Length: 35.04mm. Width: 24.58mm. Thickness: 14.57mm. Weight: 43.13g.

Incomplete copper-alloy button of Medieval to post-Medieval date. The button has a solid pyramid-shaped head with foliate decoration on each face. The shank, which projects from the centre of the reverse is an elongated teardrop shape with a circular piercing for attachment - the loop is broken. Similar style buttons are illustrated on p.25 of Bailey, G. (2004), 'Buttons and Fasteners' and dated to the Tudor period (Late 15th to 16th Centuries), c. 1450-1600, see especially Fig 7.11 and 7.14.

Incomplete cast copper alloy double loop trapezoidal buckle frame with concave sides on either side of a narrowed and recessed strap bar. The frame consists of one complete loop and uneven breaks from a second loop. The strap bar would have held a pin and a sheet plate, the pin and plate are missing. There is iron corrosion product remains from the roller on the strap bar. The frame has curved outer edges with expanded ends where the pin would rest. An incomplete Medieval copper-alloy single loop buckle frame with integral forked spacer, dating from c. AD 1350 - 1450. The buckle loop is oval in plan and a rounded triangle in section, it has a lipped outer edge to serve as a pin rest and a notched recess at the strap bar and between the arms of the forked spacer for taking the pin. Cast copper alloy clothes fastener, probably dating from the post-medieval or early modern period, that is c. AD1600-1800. The fastener is complete except for the very tip of the hook which is broken off. It is of roughly triangular shape with a perforated lobe on three corners and a heart-shaped cut-put in the centre. There is no further decoration. The pierced lobes would have been used to sew the hook to an item of clothing.

Possible Medieval to Post Medieval (14th and 18th centuries) lead or lead alloy cloth seal: The seal is composed of two discs over laying each other, both of which are incomplete, and connected by a possible stud through the hole of the second, and then flattened. There is a high-relief design which appears to be a transverse ridge which has three short ridges bisecting it. The surface of the seal is oxidised forming a cream colour. Cast lead alloy weight, probably a spindle whorl dating from the 13th-15th century. The weight survives almost complete and is in good condition, even though some fragments of the outer edge are missing. It is biconical in shape, with one side decorated with raised line and nonsensical symbols and the other with raised mouldings making up a tight web of lines, radiating outwards from the central perforation that held the spindle in place.
