An incomplete and worn copper-alloy Roman rosette brooch. Only the spring case and bow survive, the remainder of the object is missing due to old breaks, now worn.
The spring case is folded over to be cylindrical in form and undecorated. The upper bow has a convex front face. The front face is decorated with four longitudinal grooves. Below is the upper bow is a flat plate and its original shape is now unclear. It was likely disc or lozenge shaped. On the back of the plate are the remains of a catch plate.
