Copper alloy finger ring. Cast band of flattened D section with a stamped repeating design of overlapping oval panels, each with a centrally sunken oval field containing an eight-pointed star in relief and with a single pellet in the interstice between each pair of panels. Probably a 'fairing' or item of trinket jewellery. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1800-1900. Internal diameter: 17.7mm, Band Width: 5.2mm, Band Thickness: 1.1mm, Weight: 2.04gms.

Copper-alloy mount. Cast plate with a rectangular loop behind; the edges of the rectangular plate are deeply indented with four lunate hollows to produce a narrow cruciform figure with the side arm ends bearing deep triangular nicks. The ends of the top and bottom arms are billeted or diagonally hatched. There is a silvery cast to the object which may indicate either high lead or tin content in the alloy or plating.
