An incomplete cast copper-alloy Early Medieval stirrup strap mount of Anglo-Scandinavian attribution, dating from c. 1000-1100 AD. Williams Class B, Type 3, Group 9. The mount is pentagonal and slightly asymmetrical in plan and seems to be a debased form of previous groups from Type 3. The apex is rounded, with a circular rivet hole filled with an iron rivet; at the based are two circular rivet holes, one of which contains a significant amount of iron and iron corrosion from the remaining rivet and the other is missing its rivet entirely. An incomplete copper alloy hooked tag, of Early Medieval dating (Late 8th to 9th Centuries AD). Approximately 90% of the hooked tag is present, with the hook being incomplete. The plate is circular shaped, with two circular sewing holes present. The bottom point of the inverted drop-shaped plate tapers into an incomplete backward-facing hook. No decoration appears to be present. The hooked tag measures 16.8 mm in length and 9.3 mm wide. Artefact was photographed and recorded through a cardboard presentation wallet. A cast copper-alloy probable top knob from a cruciform brooch of Anglo-Saxon/Early-Medieval date. It is half-round and D-shaped in section with a flat back and domed front face. The terminal end is rounded with a slightly flattened top. There is a transverse groove at the edge of a deep moulded waist. On the opposite side of the waist is a raised collar with a transverse groove on the front face. At the base of the knob are the remains of flat head plate before terminating in old breaks.
