Possibly a Roman buckle pin probably dating to the period AD43-410. The top of the pin is curled over to create a loop. The shaft of the pin narrows to a point at the end (it appears to have been bent towards one side). There is saltire design on the loop (two joined saltires) with linear decoration following the curl of the loop and at the top of the shaft (three joined saltires) with two lines following the shape of the sides of the shaft.

Obverse: [ ... ]; Unclear bust right Reverse: possibly [GLORIA EXERCITVS]; possibly two soldiers and one standard Diameter: 14.2mm. Weight: 0.79g. The coin has been pierced at 7 o' clock on the obverse with a circular hole, 1.8mm in diameter.

The lower part of the bow and the pin are missing. The wings which are closed at the end and open at the rear contain a corroded iron spring and axis bar. The arched bow is 'D'-shaped in cross-section, flat at the rear. In plan, the sides taper from the wings towards a break. A pair of tweezers probably Roman dating to the period AD 43-410. The tweezers comprise a single piece of copper alloy of consistent width all the way to the points which has been bent in the middle and then shaped to form a 'head' at the top and then curving out and in towards the points. An incomplete Roman copper alloy amphora-shaped strap end dating to the period c. AD 200 - 400. The strap end has been broken leaving only the tip of the strap end which consists of a sub-ovoid body, the top of which has three knops on each side with curves in between. The edge of the strap end is decorated with dots and there is a line of eleven ring and dot motifs down the centre of the strap end with some extra dots at the bottom and towards the top where there are two ring and dot motifs either side of the central line.

An incomplete early medieval copper alloy strap end dating to the period AD c800-900. The strap end comprises a single piece of copper alloy which splits at the top into two parts which would have held the strap. The strap end is decorated at the split into two at the top with four horizontal lines. Towards the bottom are five horizontal lines and below that curved decoration which may be zoomorphic.

A copper alloy (probably) Roman cignus spoon dating to AD c 300-400. The bowl of the spoon is sub oval in plan. In the bowl of the spoon is a long line with a shorter cross line at the handle end of the bowl. The handle is a typical of this type of spoon as it loops over until it almost touches the neck of the bowl and then sweeps back again. The end of the 'swan's neck' handle ends in a slightly wider 'head' with six horizontal lines and two small vertical lines.

A silver Roman miniature or votive axe dating to AD 43-250. The axe comprises a wedge shaped head which is fairly flat at the top but more curved at the bottom. The butt end is flat. The axe appears to be decorated with a line round the edges, except the cutting edge, of the blade. The shaft is circular in plan and narrows to a point at the bottom. Green (1981, 258) suggests that in a Romano-Celtic context, votive axes may have been good luck charms, although it should be remembered that interpreting their ritual function is difficult and this is just one possibility for their use.
