Cast one-piece lead-alloy button with integral shank dating from the early post-medieval period, i.e. c. AD 1500-1700. The circular button is complete and retains its small attachment loop on the reverse. The button is small and its convex obverse is decorated with an eight-petalled flower. The central ornament is a pellet-in-circlet.

A complete copper alloy double looped, 'spectacle' type buckle dating to the medieval period. The buckle retains its pin and in undecorated. These buckles were in use for a few hundred years so it is not always possible to date them accurately, however this example probably dates from c. AD 1350-1500.

A worn and incomplete copper alloy heraldic horse harness banner dating to the medieval period. The banner is in the form of a flag, with the hollow 'flag-pole' enabling the banner to be mounted on a rod and swivel freely. The banner has an heraldic device on either face, apparently the same on both faces. The blazon is very worn but is identifiable on the reverse of the banner, where the device is in sinister. However turned back the correct way and the blazon is Azure, a bend cotised or between six lion rampants, probably the arms of Humphrey de Bohun, 3rd Earl of Hereford (c. 1249 …
