Complete post-Medieval cast copper-alloy double-looped buckle (c.1500-1650). The frame is convex at the front and concave at the rear. Each loop is oval in plan and similar in size. On the upper face both loops exhibit a pin rest. The narrowed central bar is sub-triangular in cross-section, flat at the rear, and has a small pointed projection at each end. The frame has a powdery green patina with areas of corrosion. A copper alloy pin fashioned from sheet is present on the pin bar.

A cast copper-alloy belt or strap mount of Post-Medieval date. It has an openwork plate that is sub-triangular in form with a central triangular aperture. The tip of the triangular plate is elongated with projecting semi-circular knops to each side and an acorn shaped knop at the base. At the top of the plate is a central lozenge shaped projecting knop. The front face of the mount is slightly worn with moulded relief decoration comprising grooved borders and diagonal cross banding. The back face is concave and undecorated, with remains of centrally placed integral cast rivets or lugs …

Just over half of a post-medieval copper alloy sub-rectangular shoe buckle frame with the ends of an iron spindle in housings. Unusually the decoration is not moulded. Six deeply punched ring-and-dots cover the centre of the edge. On both rounded corners there are seven V-sectioned radial grooves, and on the sides cross-hatched filed grooves. Estimated length 28mm. Width 23mm. c.1660 - c.1720.

Post-medieval copper alloy hooked book clasp in abraded condition, with two rivets through the fishtail terminal, three ring-and-dots nearby (two with dots as holes), a centrally placed larger ring and dot, and an iron-filled rivet hole near the hook.There is much iron staining on the reverse. The sides are parallel. Length 73mm. Width 16.5mm (21mm at the terminal). 16th century.
