A worn cast copper alloy mount of Post Medieval date. The mount is of shallow convex cinquefoil form with lobes that are separated by grooves that radiate from a central punch. A pair of integral pointed lugs curve inwards on the lower surface. They begin towards the outer edge of two of the lobes. Between the lugs the lower surface is slightly recessed. The object has corroded to a mid green colour with patches of the base metal exposed.

Post medieval worn and corroded, cast copper alloy strap mount of sub circular convex form and teardrop shape. The reverse exhibits the remains of two circular section integral rivets. One rivet is centrally located, the other is in the proximity of the large end and slightly of centre. Length: 31.11mm, width: 10.34 mm,thickness: 2.71 mm and weight is: 3.48 grammes. A probable date for this mount is 1500-1600 AD.

A complete Medieval to Post Medieval cast lead or tin alloy bi-face token, dating to c. AD 1250-1800; Powell type 9. The token is decorated on both sides with a segmented design and two pellets; on one side the design is very pronounced, but it is much fainted on the other, possibly due to a fault during production. The token is dark grey in colour. It measures 24.12 mm in diameter, 3.48 mm thick, 7.02 g in weight. A cast copper-alloy strap mount with two integral pointed rivets, dating from the 17th century. The body is asymmetrical in plan view, formed of three rounded sub-oval central bodies. There are two linear grooves for decoration between the bodies. The terminal bodies have rounded edges. The underside of the mount is flat and has two rivets which taper down towards a point. The artefact has a dark green patina with some white corrosion around the base of the lugs.This mount can be paralleled with Read (2001: fig. 36, no. 309). A probably Post Medieval double-looped oval buckle, which has been broken so only one loop remains, c. AD 1500-1650. The loop is oval-shaped with a small lobe on either side of the strap bar. In addition to its second loop, the buckle is missing its pin. It measures 20.2 mm in length, 18.3 mm wide, 2.1 mm thick and weighs 1.74 g. Cf. Whitehead 2003, p. 54.

An incomplete Early Medieval cast copper-alloy stirrup strap mount, dating from the 11th century AD. Williams Class A, Type 12. The stirrup strap mount is openwork in style and is lozenge-shaped in plan; it would have had a circular suspension loop at the top, which is now missing. An incomplete cast copper-alloy Medieval bar mount with separate rivets, dating to AD 1350-1400. The mount consists of a flat hemispherical central lobe flanked at either end by a sub-circular knop with circular rivet hole; one knop is incomplete from old breaks and both are missing their copper-alloy rivets. It is decorated with transverse lines and a transverse band of squares. Hemi-spherical cross-section. It measures 14.9 mm in length, 8.6 mm wide, 3.2 mm thick and weighs 0.92 g. Cf. An Iron Age copper-alloy uninscribed bronze unit, probably dating from 50-20 BC. Attributed to One face depicts a bear right with bird on its back; the other face depicts a bull right, with prominent horns on facing head. Cf. ABC 267, VA 154-3, BMC 2484-86. Listed as 'rare' in Rudd 2010, 'Ancient British Coins', p. 38, no. 267. This coin is unusually thin and it is possible that the remains of the coin comprise the core of the coin.

A complete cast lead alloy circular uniface token, probably dating to Post Medieval period (c. 1550-1800 AD): Class Powell 2. On one side the token has the raised initials H C seperated by a central pellet. Above the central pellet is a back to front initial C. Beneath the central pellet is an initial A. A complete Medieval cast copper-alloy sub-rectangular buckle and pin, dating to c. AD 1350-1400. The buckle consists of a very wide outer edge with an off-centre pin rest; the pin remains attached to the narrowed and offset strap bar. The simple pin is composed of copper-alloy wire. A Post Medieval complete copper-alloy double sided British coin weight for a unite of James I, valued at 22 shillings as indicated on the weight itself, probably dating to between AD 1604-1619. It is square in form and trapezoidal in section. The obverse depicts the half-length figure of James I holding a sceptre and orb surrounded by traces of a legend that possibly reads [I.R.] BRIT. A Medieval incomplete cast lead alloy seal matrix, probably dating to the 14th century AD. The seal matrix consists of a discoidal seal face decorated with a crude shield with two triangles within; the legend is unclear, but seems to be S' John Jovi. The reverse of the seal matrix is generally flat with a central rib running down its diameter. The seal matrix measures 18.5 mm diameter, 2.8 mm thick and weighs 5.4 grams.
