A Roman Republican silver denarius, probably struck by Sulla in the name of an earlier moneyer, C. Servilius Vatia (see RRC 264), in 82-80 BC (Reece Period 1), Head of Apollo / Two horsemen fighting. Mint of Rome. RRC p. 388, no. 370/2. This coin was struck at around the time that Sulla was dictator in Rome, c. 82-81 BC, by a supporter of Sulla, possibly P. Servilius Isauricus. It is scarce with only around 10 obverse and 11 reverse dies recorded.
