A Middle Bronze Age copper alloy Palstave axehead of Schmidt and Burgess 'unclassified low-flanged palstave' type with broad blade (group III) and without side loop, belonging to the Taunton phase of metalworking and corresponding to Needham's period 5, 1500-1150 BC. A complete copper alloy buckle of early-medieval date. The buckle is D-shaped in plan and circular in section with a narrowed and recessed strap bar. The outer edge of the frame is wide and undecorated and the pin no longer remains. Where the frame meets the strap bar it terminates in bulbous knops which are most probably crude representations of animal heads confronting across the bar. Complete copper alloy buckle frame. The frame is asymmetric with an oval loop and a smaller trapezoidal loop for attachment to the strap. The pin is missing and there is a groove around the centre of the strap bar between the two loops where this would have rotated. The pin has a flattened biconical head that is faceted and decorated with 16 ring and dot motifs. An Iron Age coin: a copper alloy core of a plated stater, probably of the Corieltavi Domino type, dating from c. 50 BC - AD 10. It is 16.9mm in diameter and 3.2mm thick. It weighs 4.1gm. The coin has similarities to Van Arsdell, 1989, Celtic Coinage of Britain, page 235, number 829-4 and Rudd,2010, Ancient British Coins, page 93, number ABC 1758, but is not a very close match.

A complete copper-alloy rectangular buckle frame with central bar of Medieval date. The frame and bar are oval in section and undecorated. The copper-alloy pin is still present. It tapers to a point and has an open loop. This buckle measures 19.57mm in length, 13.99mm in width, 1.45mm in thickness, 1.18g in weight. There is a similar example from London (Egan and Pritchard, 1991, p. 98, no. 444).
