Medieval copper alloy oval buckle frame with a bent offset bar of sub-square section, groove for missing pin, between engraved lines forming a V-shape on the outer facets, lip between two pairs of transverse ribs on outside edge. A complete copper alloy buckle of early-medieval date. The buckle is D-shaped in plan and circular in section with a narrowed and recessed strap bar. The outer edge of the frame is wide and undecorated and the pin no longer remains. Where the frame meets the strap bar it terminates in bulbous knops which are most probably crude representations of animal heads confronting across the bar. Zoomorphic terminals are a common feature of buckles of this period and are intended to represent some sort of quadruped's head, such as a lion or leopard. The metal has a dark blackish-brown patina…

An Iron Age coin: a copper alloy core of a plated stater, probably of the Corieltavi Domino type, dating from c. 50 BC - AD 10. It is 16.9mm in diameter and 3.2mm thick. It weighs 4.1gm. The coin has similarities to Van Arsdell, 1989, Celtic Coinage of Britain, page 235, number 829-4 and Rudd,2010, Ancient British Coins, page 93, number ABC 1758, but is not a very close match.

A complete copper alloy button of post-medieval date. The button is domed being circular in plan with a convex front and flat reverse with a projecting integral shank. The upper surface of the button is decorated with a radiating cross-hatched design. The metal has a mid green patina and is worn. The button is 10.5mm in diameter, 14.2mm long with shank and weighs 2.9g.
