A sheet copper-alloy rivet, probably for repairing a sheet metal vessel, of later Medieval to Post-Medieval date. It is formed from a kite-shaped piece of copper-alloy sheeting rolled to form a cone with the point at the top folded down to form the head. This rivet measures 30.53mm in length, 19.12mm in diameter at head, 10.09g in weight. Egan (2005: pp. 101) notes that rivets of this form superseded Medieval folded staples in the later 15th century but continued in use into the 18th century AD. Copper-alloy post medieval belt mount.The object is sub-circular in form and has a sub rectangular projection at one end and a sub triangular one at the other. Its body is perforated with four evenly spaced circular holes surrounding by a suggestion of raised lines, indicating a pattern on the surface, now worn away. The reverse has two fxing prongs attached. Length 33mm, width 25mm, thickness 7mm, weight 5.52g.

A complete copper alloy buckle of early-medieval date. The buckle is D-shaped in plan and circular in section with a narrowed and recessed strap bar. The outer edge of the frame is wide and undecorated and the pin no longer remains. Where the frame meets the strap bar it terminates in bulbous knops which are most probably crude representations of animal heads confronting across the bar. An incomplete and worn post medieval cast lead alloy military button. Most of the circumferential edge is missing. There are remains of an iron attachment on the integral loop. The button bears the numerals 55 within a wreath. Steve Newman reports: This is a button of the 55th Regt of Foot who were at this time the 55th (Westmoreland) Regt of Foot. An incomplete copper alloy dolphin brooch of Roman date. The head of the brooch is comprised of tubular wings though one has been lost to an old worn break, and an iron rod can be seen within, representing the remains of the pin mechanism. The pin no longer remains. A circular sectioned bow extends centrally from the front of the wings with a slight upward turn and tapers steadily in width to an extremely worn break.
