An incomplete copper alloy double looped, or 'spectacle' buckle of the early post-medieval period. A little over half of the buckle is retained; the integral strap bar is missing the pin but iron corrosion suggests an iron pin. The frame is plain and undecorated. Similar buckles are illustrated in Whitehead (1996, no 317) and are dated to c. AD 1500-1650.

A complete late post-Medieval copper-alloy clog or shoe clasp (c. 1700- c. 1900). This pressed clasp is sub-rectangular in plan. At the expanded end a curving hook with a lobed terminal at each side is turned rearwards through 180°. The opposite end is straight. At the front a raised design on a corrugated field consists of a plain border containing a wicker basket at the expanded end. Tendrils with flowers and buds emanate upwards from it. The buckle has an undecorated frame that is bevelled from the inner edge to the outer; the integral strap or pin bar is retained as is the copper alloy pin. This type of buckle dates from c. A Post Medieval cast copper-alloy double loop vesica-shaped buckle and a fragment of pin, c. AD 1550-1650. The buckle frame is vesica shaped with cusped outside edges created from moulded pellets; there are slight protrusions at either end of the strap bar which have sub-oval holes punched into them. The outer edge of both loops is sub-lozenge-shaped in plan and is also punched with a lozenge-shaped hole; all of the holes have created bevelled inner edges from the front face. A worn copper alloy halfpenny of George III (AD 1760-1820) dating to AD 1799 (ship issue) and minted in Birmingham (Soho). The coin has been altered into an object resembling a cogged wheel; the outer edges of the coin have been pinched out of the obverse in nine places. This gives the effect of a cogged wheel or circular saw blade; all of the pinches run in the same direction. It is unclear how these pinches were formed, possibly by brute force (hammering) or by heating the edge of the coin to make the metal more malleable. Its use is unclear. Spink (2006) 3778.

A complete copper alloy pendant or button of post-medieval date. The object appears to be comprised of four ovate panels folded and soldered together to form a sphere. A small circular, domed attachment loop is present at the top of the object while a small circular perforation exists at the opposing point. A rectangular, copper alloy (brass) coin weight for the French ecu, struck in Antwerp in the sixteenth century. The obverse depicts three fleurs-de-lys in a crowned shield of arms within a circle; the reverse has an upright hand flanked by the manufacturer's initials A I. The front face depicts a voided cross with 5 pellets in each angle of the cross, all within an inner circle. The reverse carries a wreath enclosing a standing figure. It measures 17.13mm in length, 16.12mm in width, 1.90mm in thickness, 2.56g (39.51 grains) in weight. Running upwards from the rim are rows of evenly spaced punched oval indentations that terminate with a recessed band at the top of the thimble. A copper-alloy belt mount of Post-Medieval date. It is triangular in form, tapering at one end to an expanded terminal, with small rectangular knop at the wider end. On the back face of the mount are two integrally cast cylindrical lugs or rivets that are folded at an angle of 90 degrees and taper to sharp points. It measures 23.13mm in length, 9.29mm in width, 6.08mm in thickness and 1.66g in weight. This is a decorative belt mount of Post-Medieval date, c.16th-17th centuries AD.
