A copper alloy radiate of the emperor Carausius dating to the period AD 286-293 (Reece period 14). The obverse depicts a radiate, draped and cuirassed bust facing right and is inscribed [IMP C]ARAVSIVS P F AVG. The reverse depicts Pax standing left holding a branch and transverse sceptre and is inscribed PAX AVG. Mintmark B E//MLXXI. Mint of London. RIC V, pt 2, p. 472, cf. 101.
