A very thin and worn sixpence of Elizabeth I dating to the period AD 1558 - 1603. Uncertain Issue. Square shield on long cross fourchee reverse. Uncertain initial mark. Mint of London.
The coin is so thin that the reverse image can be seen clearly on the obverse as well. This coin is possibly a contemporary copy due to the low quality of the silver.
