One complete half of a Post-Medieval (1500-1700) copper alloy two-part toggle clasp (hook-section) of Read Type 1, from a sword belt of 16th to 17th century date. It measures 42.87x17.38x(max)4.65mm and weighs 5.86g. It is curving in profile. 

This part of the toggle clasp is the section with a bar which would have fitted through an eye on the corresponding section. The object is largely flat in cross-section, though with slightly chamfered edges, and has a thickness of 1.79mm (although the transverse bar at one end has a thickness of 4.65mm). An incomplete Medieval to Post-Medieval (1400-1650) copper alloy double oval buckle frame, missing its pin. It measures 25.06x19.70x2.77mm (internal surviving loops c.7x13mm) and weighs 3.54g. The loops are angled outwards and the central bar is triangular in cross-section (being flat to the underside). Examples of this type of buckle frame from London (Egan and Pritchard 1991 nos.331 to 342) date from the second half of the fourteenth to the second half of the fifteenth century, but as the form persists a later date cannot be ruled out.

An incomplete Medieval (1250-1350) copper alloy single-loop oval buckle frame of Meols Type 11, with outside 'roller' edge on the frame. It is missing part of the pin and apparently part of the roller edge, and possibly a buckle plate too. The buckle measures 19.69x20.26mm (internal 9.90x15.38mm) and weighs 4.08g. The outside edge is offset with a roller composed of a sheet of copper alloy metal wrapped around it. The rounded sides have expanded oval terminals flanking the roller. The axis bar is offset and narrowed.

A Late Iron Age to Early Roman (300 BC - 200 AD) copper alloy button-and-loop fastener (toggle) probably of Wild's Class I with double annular-loop head and offset attachment loop, all cast as one. The underside of the attachment loop is tear-drop shaped (19.45x16.20mm, internal 7.70x9.30mm) with a decorative groove on the inside surface below the point. A Medieval (1200-1400) copper-alloy horse harness pendant with all traces of its probably original gilt and enamel decoration now lost. It is the form of a sexfoil with a second sexfoil at the centre around a circular depression. The outer petals are recessed (with rib-like walls) while the inner petals are raised. The loop is turned through 90 degrees. 
Measures 27.59mm in length, 18.12mm in width, 5.77mm in max.depth and the sexfoil itself 2.31mm thick. It weighs 3.55g.

An incomplete and a little damaged copper alloy Middle/ Late Early-Medieval (800-1000) strap-end of Thomas class A type 2 (A2; Patterned), with a transverse crack across the middle of the strap-end and two worn-through rivet holes (c.2.5mm diameter) at the open end. It is slightly bent. The strap-end measures 35.91mm in length, weighing 2.61g. The strap-end has a split end (8.89x1.96mm) and convex sides (max.11.16mm narrowing to 4.2mm at the zoomorphic terminal). An incomplete Post-Medieval two-part lead cloth seal displaying the arms of England and the arms of London, missing disc two and the connecting strip. Part of the edge is bent backwards. An incomplete Late Roman (AD 300-410) copper alloy probable strap-end, of Eckhardt and Crummy's 'nail-cleaner strap-end' zoomorphic type.
