A complete intaglio of probable Roman date. The intaglio is made of a blue paste of indeterminate nature and is impressed on the upper surface with the faint shape of a right facing horse. The reverse is flat and undecorated and no evidence survives to suggest what this object was originally a part of. The intaglio is 10.1mm in diameter, 2.2mm thick and weighs 0.4g.

A complete copper alloy seal matrix of medieval date. The die of the matrix is circular with a hexagonal sectioned handle extending from the reverse. The handle tapers to a triple banded circumferential collar from which a tri-lobed terminal projects. The die itself is decorated with an anonymous personal seal devise depicting a hare holding and blowing a hunting horn while seated on the back of a left standing hound.
