An incomplete copper alloy medieval (AD c.1150-c.1450) strap end, missing small fragments at one end. Overall, the object measures 24.6mm long, 13.8mm wide and 2.8mm thick. It weighs 2.30g. The object is in the shape of an elongated hexagon, but this shape may have been caused by damage along the top edge. The strap end may have originally been square ended at the top. There appear to be the remains of a small projecting knop at the bottom end of the strap end and traces of a copper alloy rivet connecting the top ends. The surface of the object is flat and undecorated.

An incomplete copper alloy strap fitting or possible buckle plate dating to the Early-medieval (Anglo-Saxon) period. In its current form the strap fitting is broadly sub-rectangular in plan and has moulded Style I decoration, comprising elements of intertwined beasts. There are two or three openwork elements to the fitting. The reverse is flat, plain and undecorated. An object of similar form and decoration is illustrated in West et al. An incomplete copper alloy Iron Age (400-200 BC) La Tène I type brooch which is missing its head, spring, pin and the foot. It measures 27.05mm in length, 6.9mm wide (across the bow), 15.55mm deep (bow to catchplate) and weighs 5.24 grams. The re may have been a collar between the spheres, though only a slight groove now remains at the base of one of them. The type is considered of early Roman date, but was also favoured in Late Iron Age East Yorkshire, where versions were made of bone as well as metal. Suggested date: Early Roman, 43-100. A medieval lead papal bulla fragment of Pope Urban V (AD 1362-1370). The object would have been circular in plan but is now broken in two along the line where the cords pass through the centre from top to bottom. On the face is the truncated inscription UR/AN/ PP which would have originally read URB/ANUS/PP V (The 'PP' stands for 'pastor pastorum' which translates as 'shepherd of the shepherds'). The other side depicts the busts of Saints Peter and Paul within drop-shaped pelleted borders, but only the right bust remains. Above the bust is SPE, the abbreviation for St Peter.
