An incomplete copper alloy annular double looped buckle dating to the late Medieval to early Post Medieval period. The buckle is missing its pin, while the frame is moulded in the form of a five-petalled flower where the slightly irregular petals all have a concave central dip. These buckles date from c. AD 1450-1550.

An incomplete cast copper alloy single-loop medieval buckle frame with integral plate, possibly a spur buckle, missing its iron pin. The buckle frame is oval in shape and has a triangular lipped pin rest with central notch. The corroded iron remains of the pin are apprent in the piercing in the integral plate, where the pin would have rotated. The loop has a maximum internal diameter of 11.23mm. A cast copper alloy double-looped buckle of post-medieval date (AD 1550-1650). The buckle frame is incomplete; one loop and a third of the second is missing due to an old break. The frame of the buckle is decorated with a series of cast pattern comprising rose or rosette like flowers on the frame and scroll or vegetal like tendril scrolls on the body and small knops on the outer edge. Two copper alloy strap buckles of the medieval period, c. AD 1300-1500. The rectangular buckles are small, the largest measuring only 34.6mm long x 11.1mm wide and 5.2mm thick. Both retain their buckle plates, which are formed by folding one sheet of copper alloy over the buckle bar and securing the plate to the strap by one or two small rivets. The pin is extant on one of the buckles.

A copper alloy Medieval to Post-Medieval (1350-1600) double oval buckle frame with pin intact (and possibly missing a plate). The buckle measures 22.12mm x 17.24mm x 2.55mm and weighs 1.62g. The internal measurements of the loops are c.12x6mm. The integral bar is roughly square in cross section and extends either side of the frame. A fragment of a copper alloy medieval (AD c.1250-1400) single loop spur buckle with an integral plate, missing its frame, pin and parts of the plate. Overall, it measures 15.0mm long, 10.4mm wide and 3.5mm thick. It weighs 0.83g. The buckle plate is broadly rectangular in plan, expanding slightly in width at the broken end (the loop end). An incomplete Medieval to post-Medieval cast copper-alloy double-looped buckle (c. 1350-c. 1650). The pin is missing. The frame is convex at the front and flat at the rear. Each loop is similar in size and oval in plan. The narrowed bar is triangular in cross-section. This frame is corroded brown and green. Length: 23.5mm; width: 19.1mm; thickness: 2.8mm. Weight: 2.46g. A Medieval copper alloy buckle frame. It is sub-oval in shape with two straight sides and two shorter curved sides. Extending from either corner of the straight outer side are two large sub-circular knops. The strap bar is narrowed and recessed. The two large knops are probably exaggerated versions of those seen on buckles 544-548 from Meols (Griffiths et al. 2007, 90).
