Incomplete post-medieval copper alloy tap, with the key and most of the circular inlet pipe missing. The key housing is octagonal externally and circular internally. Between the key housing and the sub-square sectioned mouth there is a spur or projection on the upper face. This is a common 16th- and perhaps earlier 17th-century form (Baart et al. 1977, nos. 657-60; Allan 1984, 345, fig. 193, no. 180; Goodall, A. in Saunders 2012, 115, cat. no. 245; HAMP-751C23). Egan (1998, 242-4) points to Continental examples of as early as c.1460. Extant length 88m. Width 22mm.

Medieval honestone of Norwegian Ragstone. The cross-section is sub-rectangular with the narrow sides quite flat but the two broad faces irregularly convex. Close to the slightly damaged narrower end an encircling V-sectioned groove with overlapping ends was presumably to take a suspension cord (a drilled perforation is the more normal method). Below the groove the sides are straight and then gently diverge before a rounded lower end. Length 84mm. Width 21.5 - 28mm. Thickness 10.5 - 14.5mm. Weight 55.98g. Roman copper alloy sprung dolphin brooch. C-sectioned wings with concave mouldings and damaged ends, triangular-sectioned bow with slightly concave sides and a median longitudinal groove. Only the stub of the catch-plate survives. The reverse of the wings are partially filled with corroded iron, with iron corrosion cover parts of the surface on the front and back of the wings and bow and on either side of the catch-plate. The surface is corroded and pitted. Pin missing. Surviving length 40mm. Surviving width 23mm.
