A complete but worn copper alloy cup-shaped trade weight of the post-medieval period. There are no makers' or issuers' marks or stamps visible. There is the remains of a concreted white material within the weight. This is likely to be a single example from a nested set of weights of differing sizes which were used to weigh gold and silver in the form of coin, small objects or scrap metal or other precious materials. Similar weights are illustrated in Biggs p.16 and are dated to the 16th - 18th century.

An incomplete Post-Medieval (1500 -1700) copper alloy hooked tag of Read Class A Type 2 (oval, with three attachment loops), with the attachment loop at the apex missing. The fastener is flat with an integral hook at one end separated from the main plate by a slightly widened collar. The hook is blunt and formed of a flat rectangular tongue bent backwards against the plate. Post Medieval (16th century) knife cap terminal: copper alloy terminal in plan is an asymmetrical cross with one terminal being an incomplete circular loop. Each face is decorated with a saltire. The opposite terminal has a slot which is filled with traces of an iron tag. The surface of the knife cap is abraded. In length the knife cap is 16.57mm, 12.51mm wide and 6.24mm thick. It weighs 4g. End-caps such as this example are dated to the 16th century (Geake, H. 2001 Finds Recording Guide 1.1 unpublished).

The buckle is missing its pin, while the frame is moulded in the form of a five-petalled flower where the slightly irregular petals all have a concave central dip. These buckles date from c. A Post Medieval (16th to 17th centuries) copper-alloy coin weight: It is flat and square in plan with abraded surfaces. The obverse depicts possibly St Michael with a halo spearing a dragon to the right. The reverse is too abraded to see if there was a depiction or not. This coin weight measures 11.74mm in length, 11.34mm in width, 1.58mm in thickness, 1.2g in weight. An incomplete copper alloy Roman plate brooch with glass inset, dating to the second - mid third century AD. The brooch is circular in plan with a large cone-shaped blue glass inset in the centre. Around this is a recessed field decorated with wavy linears around the circumference. The outer rim is slightly raised. On the revers the remains of the pin lug and catchplate are retained. Iron corrosion around the lug show an iron pin was used. A direct comparison can be seen in Hattatt (2007:364) no. 639.

An incomplete cast copper alloy single-loop medieval buckle frame with integral plate, possibly a spur buckle, missing its iron pin. The buckle frame is oval in shape and has a triangular lipped pin rest with central notch. An incomplete gold finger ring of the post-medieval period. The finger ring is now distorted and comprises a bent strip of gold rather than a loop; on one side of the hoop, in its present form the outer surface, there is a continuous band of black letter style decoration. Probable Post Medieval cast lead uniface token. The token carries a design consisting of a triple stranded cross. The reverse is undecorated. The surface is a matte yellow/cream colour. The token measures 18.4mm long, 17.97mm wide, and weighs 2.6g. This is a Powell Type 12. Lead tokens had a wide variety of potential uses such as use as tallies, gaming pieces, tickets, weights, etc. and are believed to have been locally produced; they are therefore difficult to date precisely. A cast copper alloy double-looped buckle of post-medieval date (AD 1550-1650). The buckle frame is incomplete; one loop and a third of the second is missing due to an old break. The frame of the buckle is decorated with a series of cast pattern comprising rose or rosette like flowers on the frame and scroll or vegetal like tendril scrolls on the body and small knops on the outer edge.
