A Medieval copper alloy buckle frame. It is sub-oval in shape with two straight sides and two shorter curved sides. Extending from either corner of the straight outer side are two large sub-circular knops. The strap bar is narrowed and recessed. The two large knops are probably exaggerated versions of those seen on buckles 544-548 from Meols (Griffiths et al. 2007, 90). These belong to Meols Type 10 and are dated to the late 14th century (ibid.). Length: 20.0mm, width: 17.0mm, thickness: 2.6mm, weight: 1.81g

A probable Medieval copper alloy key fragment. Only part of the handle survives. This consists of a circular loop with a lobe at either side of the base from which a further two loops appear to have extended, creating a third loop in the centre. At the apex of the complete loop is a small bi-lobed moulding. A copper alloy mask of unknown date and function. It is sub-oval in shape and slightly convex. Around the outside of the outer face are radiating grooves, providing the effect of hair and a beard. A small tab extends from one side and a break suggests there would have been a matching one on the other side originally. A Medieval copper alloy incomplete device for hanging a lamp. It has a circular suspension loop on a long stem at the base of which three short arms extend at a righ-angle. Each arm is flattened and tapers towards the end, culminating in a small rectangular plate pierced with a circular hole. A Roman copper alloy incomplete nail cleaner with moulded neck and shouldered blade. It has a circular suspension loop set at a right angle to the blade, which contains traces of iron corrosion product. Below this is short handle with bead, reel and spool mouldings. The blade is leaf-shaped and its tip is missing. A very similar example was found at Lion Walk, Colchester (Crummy 1983, 58, 1872).
