An incomplete Post-Medieval (1500 -1700) copper alloy hooked tag of Read Class A Type 2 (oval, with three attachment loops), with the attachment loop at the apex missing. The fastener is flat with an integral hook at one end separated from the main plate by a slightly widened collar. The hook is blunt and formed of a flat rectangular tongue bent backwards against the plate. The two surviving attachment loops are trefoil in shape and situated roughly halfway along the length of the plate. An incomplete cast copper alloy single-loop medieval buckle frame with integral plate, possibly a spur buckle, missing its iron pin. The buckle frame is oval in shape and has a triangular lipped pin rest with central notch. The corroded iron remains of the pin are apprent in the piercing in the integral plate, where the pin would have rotated. The loop has a maximum internal diameter of 11.23mm. An incomplete Roman (AD 50-150) copper alloy Colchester Derivative brooch missing the pin. The brooch measures 43.5mm in length, 17.05mm wide, 13.85mm thick and weighs 6.55 grams. The wings are C-shaped in cross-section (with a hollowed area for the spring) and span 17.05mm. They are decorated with a single vertical groove. A copper alloy Medieval to Post-Medieval (1350-1600) double oval buckle frame with pin intact (and possibly missing a plate). The buckle measures 22.12mm x 17.24mm x 2.55mm and weighs 1.62g. The internal measurements of the loops are c.12x6mm. The integral bar is roughly square in cross section and extends either side of the frame. The buckle has bevelled edges (they slope inwards when viewed from reverse). The pin is sheet copper alloy cut to a point at its end and of a different copper alloy than the frame. An incomplete copper alloy Iron Age to Roman strip bow brooch dating to the period c. AD 25-75. The brooch is missing the pin and the curl of the catch plate. It measures 54.45mm in length, 21.05mm at its widest point (across the wings), 2.75mm at its narrowest point (tip of the foot) and weighs 6.79 grams. An incomplete copper alloy flat axehead. The butt is missing with only a section of the body and the cutting edge remaining. The cutting edge is splayed and crescentic with clear facet to the blade edge on both faces. The cross section of the body is sub- rectangular with slightly convex ffaces and slightly angled sides. There is a ridge along the length of the axe along the middle of both sides. On the flat faces is a faint mid-rib and a low transverse ridge just before the break. An incomplete Post-Medieval copper alloy strap fitting (belt mount), lozenge-shaped with a single integral attachment spike to the reverse, now missing its tip. The head is entirely covered to the front with moulded pellets (eight around a central pellet). The spike has a square cross-section and the break is relatively recent. The metal is rather grey in colour suggesting an alloy with tin.
