A copper alloy post-medieval (AD c.1500-c.1600) possible knife end-stop. Overall, the object measures 21.4mm long, 10.5mm wide and 6.4mm thick. It weighs 2.93g. Some of the object is covered in iron corrosion, which masks the outline of the object. The object is broadly oval in section and rectangular in plan, although it appears to taper slightly towards one end. At this end the object splits into two to form an oval opening. At the other end there is an oval opening, the edges of which are serrated. There is some grooved decoration on one side.

An incomplete copper alloy post-medieval (AD c.1500-c.1625) hooked clasp, missing its hook and its attachment loop. Overall, it measures 21.2mm long, 17.1mm wide and 2.5mm thick. It weighs 2.25g. The clasp falls into Read's Class E, Type 3: sub-circular single sharp-hooked clasps. An exact parallel can be found in Read, 2008, Hooked-Clasps & Eyes, 104, no. 402. The object was cast in one piece. Decoration is moulded-relief and openwork, and consists of a chequered lozenge within an engrailed edge and set between two sets of four circular perforations of different sizes. There is also …
