Cast copper alloy strap suspension fitting. The fitting has a solid oval body with a smaller integral oval loop at one end. The oval end loop has its long axis set at right angles but in the same plane as the body. The internal cutaway shape of the oval loop is sub semicircular with a central slot on the body side of the straight edge. The face of the body has a transverse slightly recessed broad band running across it. A copper-alloy fragment from a strap fitting of Medieval date. The surviving object is flat, worn and sub-rectangular in form before terminating in old breaks. This strap fitting measures 22.32mm in length, 16.46mm in width, 0.51mm in thickness, 1.17g in weight.

An incomplete and bent copper-alloy rectangular strap fitting of Medieval date. Only part of the plate survives, the remainder of the object is missing due to old breaks, now worn. It is flat with four randomly placed circular rivet holes. This strap fitting measures 24.27mm in length, 17.57mm in width, 0.61mm in thickness, 2.27g in weight.

An incomplete copper-alloy strap fitting of Post-Medieval date. Only one suspension loop, still containing a corroded iron rivet and two circular holes from the openwork plate survive, the remainder of the object is missing due to old breaks, now worn. This strap fitting measures 18.88mm in length, 16.19mm in width, 1.72mm in thickness, 1.19g in weight. This strap fitting is similar to an example published by Read from Bedfordshire (Read, 2008, pp.232 no. 828).

A complete cast copper-alloy strap loop or slide of Post-Medieval date. It is flat with a central lozenge-shaped panel with circular terminals. On the back face are two integrally cast copper-alloy lugs that are flat, rectangular and taper to a point. They have been folded forwards to an angle of 90 degrees. This strap fitting measures 24.23mm in length, 9.01mm in width, 2.33mm in thickness, 13.89mm in height (including the lugs), 4.17g in weight. There is a similar example recorded on the PAS database (SUR-7E2F65).
