A Roman Polden Hill type brooch (AD c. 80-120): The copper alloy brooch is incomplete. The wings are semi-cylindrical, but both are fragmentary. The edges of the wings, behind the bow head, is heavily abraded. The axis bar, spring and pin are all missing. The bowhead is hump-like in profile and is undecorated. The bow is oval in section, and gradually tapers to a break which is not recent. The surface of the brooch has an incomplete light green patina. It measures 25.6mm long, 11.85mm wide across the wings and weighs 5g. The brooch is probably a Polden Hill type. Bayley and Butcher…

A complete lead object of Post-Medieval (16th-18th century AD) date, possibly a mould or simply an impression of possibly a copper-alloy Nuremburg jetton. The mould is sub-square in plan and rectangular in section. There is a circular perforation in two of the corners. In the centre of the mould, on one face, there is a impression in reverse of a possible copper alloy Nuremburg jetton measuring approximately 24mm in diameter.
