A copper-alloy frame from a Medieval single-loop buckle. The frame is 'D-shaped', its width gradually increasing towards the centre of the outer side. The upper surface slopes downwards and outwards and the narrower axis bar is offset. Three transverse grooves mark the pin rest. Length: 17.4mm; width: 20.6mm; thickness: 2.5mm; weight: 1.8g. Similar buckles were found at Meols, Merseyside, where they were dated to the late 13th/early 14th century (Egan in Griffiths et al. 2007: 88, Type 2).

A medieval copper alloy mount, probably from a swivel strap fitting. The object is circular and domed with an openwork decoration. The decoration consists of a large circular perforation at the peak of the dome with smaller circular perforations across the rest of the object. There is also a linear decoration chased on the outer face, running around the central hole, around the base of the object and vertically between the two. A fragment of Neolithic or Bronze Age flint debitage dating to the period c. 4000 - 801 BC. The fragment is broadly triangular in shape and terminates in a rounded tip which retains cortex. The piece is struck on a secondary flake and exhibits the remains of cortex in two patches, one at the edge of the striking platform and the other covering the tip of the distal end. It total the cortex covers c. 10% of the surface area of the flake. The dorsal surface exhibits two negative scars from previous flake removal separated by one longitudinal arris. An incomplete copper-alloy single-loop buckle, dating from the Late Medieval to early post-Medieval periods. The frame is suboval, its upper surface sloping downwards and outwards, a pointed pin rest projecting from the centre of the outer side. A pair of projecting, stepped tabs at the other end of the frame represents the remains of the forked spacer which would have separated the now-missing plates. Copper alloy 'female' tag from a pair hooked tags. The tag has a sub-oval plate with a large rectangular loop at one end (now truncated). Either side of the plate are two pierced lugs with a third at the rear for attachment. The centre of the plate is decorated with a foliate design with a human facemask in the centre. This artefact dates to the 16th century.
