A Medieval (1300-1400) copper alloy seal matrix with a circular die and hexagonal in cross-section handle, tapering to a trefoil suspension loop with a circular perforation. The matrix has a central design of a pelican above a shield: the design is within a pellet border which surrounds the legend S'MERCIATESV. The handle rises in six facets, narrowing as it rises to a waist from which it expands out slightly to a thickened collar. Above the pierced suspension loop is a trefoil design with circular loop. Height: 27.2 mm, Diameter: 19.3 mm, Thickness: 6.2 mm, Weight: 10.58 g.

Two adjoining body sherds from a ceramic vessel of Roman date. The fracture is recent. The dark grey fabric of the two sherds has been grog-tempered and has occasional flint inclusions. Coarse textured hand-formed grog-tempered jars, bowls and dishes are produced in south-east England during the 3rd and 4th centuries AD.

A fragment of a ceramic wheel thrown vessel of probable Roman date. Description: The vessel survives only as a base sherd. The fabric is a light grey colour with rare poorly sorted, mostly black speck inclusions, likely grit.The base is near complete and has an approximate diameter of 67mm. Part of the body of the vessel extends from the base at a fairly sharp angle. There is a slight dome in the centre of the interior of the base.

The weight is circular, with an inner circular depression which as a central stamped circle and three stamped countermarks; incluing a coffee pot, a quartered shield with a quartered field and a W with a possible crown above it.
