The obverse design consists of a multiple inward diagonal lines, five (5) with pellet ends (Probably Powell type 30). The reverse is plain and undecorated. The token has a diameter of 18.9 mm and is 3.0 mm thick. It weighs 4.9 g. The token is a mid grey colour, with an even surface patina. An incomplete cast copper-alloy purse bar of Post-Medieval date. One part of one bar survives, the remainder of the object is missing due to old breaks, now worn. It is rectangular and V-shaped in section, with a slightly rounded front face. One terminal of the bar curves round to the angle of 90 degrees. The front face is decorated with zigzag grooves, which creates cells of opposing triangles. The back face of the bar has the remains of two circular sewing holes.
