Copper alloy possible girdle hanger fragment. A single drawn wire loop, now open, which is threaded through a suspension loop with a rounded end, and with an incised line below the loop; the rest is lost. Identified by Dr Kevin Leahy (in April 2011) as of Early Anglo-Saxon date, this is suggested by this reporter as possibly coming from the upper end of a girdle hanger, or alternatively from some other form of pendant or amulet. Suggested date: Early Medieval, 500-600. Length (overall): 16mm, Width (pendant object): 6.9mm, Thickness: 2.1mm, Weight: 0.87gms.

Copper alloy brooch fragment. Cast plate with a step on its display face and the stub of a lug on the back, probably either a pin seat or a catch plate. The form of brooch is uncertain, though it might have been either a cruciform or square headed form. Heavily abraded. This object was allocated to the Early anglo-Saxon period on the advice of Dr Kevin Leahy (in April 2011). Suggested date: Early Medieval, 500-600. Length: 35mm, Width: 18.4mm, Thickness (clear of lug): 4.9mm, Weight: 9.08gms.

A complete and worn cast copper-alloy strap fitting, probably from a sword or baldrick belt of Post-Medieval date. It is flat. At the attachment end is a transverse rectangular bar, still containing the corroded remains of a separate iron rivet. Beneath this is a sub-rectangular plate which tapers before expanding into a smaller transverse bar with rounded terminals. At the bottom of the plate is an integrally cast hook. Cast disc with enamelled design comprising four pelta or kidney shaped figures springing from an outer border around a central dot, all rendered as cells filled with dull blue enamel.
