Incomplete lead mount in the form of a symmetrical tree or bush with deeply moulded spiral details and a flat back. The present base is the carefully chopped trunk. A oval blind hole in the centre of the reverse is the only evidence for attachment. It cuts or is cut by a diagonal groove. Height 38mm. Width 44mm. Thickness 12mm at the top, 7.7mm at the trunk. Hole diameter 3.5 and 5mm. Depth 5mm. Weight 98g. No parallel noted. Perhaps 15th - early 16th century. (field FLO9)

Description: A fragment of a medieval silver gilt annular brooch. The fragment is curvilinear, the brooch originally being circular and flat. It has an inscription within two border grooves on both faces. One face reads [ ] N L V [ ] and the other [ ] S E X [ ]. Discussion: This brooch is similar to other examples of 14th century date such as 2008 T607 (Treasure Annual Report 2008, 148, no 311). Dimensions: 0.58g in weight, 15.88mm in length, 3.61mm in width and 1.35mm in thickness.

Cast plate fragment with a drilled hole of diameter 2.1mm at its inner edge (as worn); the hole is now open and appears alongside a frayed worn edge. On the outer side a lug may be one part of an eye. Decoration comprises paired incised lines closer to the inner edge and tiny circular stamps in a vertical line. A Middle Bronze Age copper alloy dirk (1500-1150 BC). Sub-triangular dirk, with sides tapering to a rounded tip, which was likely broken in antiquity. Both faces have a central mid-rib, with a rounded butt and two sub-circular rivet holes, lozenge in section. The object is likely a Group IV blade, with a comparable example no.864 from Undley, Suffolk (Burgess and Gerloff 1981, Plate 107). Length: 60.1 mm, Width: 24.3 mm, Thickness: 2.5 mm, Weight: 9.37 g.

Fragment from one end of a cast plate with a projecting lug with drilled off-centre hole of diameter 2.7mm for sewn attachment on the inner edge (as worn). Decoration comprises an incised double line vertical border on the inner edge next to the lug, and a group of four horizontally incised lines between that boundary and the outer edge; the latter group beginning just below the mid point of the sewing lug.
