Iron knife with a solid integral iron handle that is rectangular in cross-section and slightly tapes to the blade, the pommel is spherical with a knop terminal. The blade has a rounded end (choil) and a straight flat spine, most of the blade has been truncated. Egon describes these types of knifes with integral handles as a 'late 16th century fashion' (Egan, 2005, 87). A similar example was found in an excavation in London and dated to 1575-1600 (Egan, 2005, 87-88)
