A cast copper-alloy stirrup-strap mount, lozenge-shaped in plan, with circular terminal and saltire cross dividing four openwork lozenges within. There are seven projecting circular bosses at the centre of the cross, and at each of the junctions of the diagonal cross. The lattices between the bosses are punched with pairs of opposed triangles. There are two rivet holes at either end of the mount, both with their iron rivets still intact. The upper mounting point is complete and around the rivet-hole is an incised circular line.
