A cast lead unidentified object of possible post-Medieval date (1500-1800). This object is a cube with chamfered corners. One face has a central circular hole, 1.7mm in diameter and 5.1mm in depth. There is a cut or chop, possibly deliberate, along one edge. The object has an even buff patina overall. Length: 12.6mm; width: 12.6mm; thickness: 12.6mm. Weight: 18.31g.

An incomplete probable post-Medieval cast lead weight (1600-1800). The suspension loop is missing. This weight is spherical and has a hole in which a loop was inserted. The hole is c. 5.0mm in depth and has a diameter of c. 3.0mm. This weight is dull grey and has old scuffs and dents. Diameter: 24.2mm. Weight: 79.23g. (2.7950 ounces).

A complete cast lead weight of uncertain date. The weight has a flat circular base with a cylindrical hole which runs up through the weight, drilled off-centre and surrounded on the base by a slight ridge. No mark or decoration is present. The metal is a mid grey to white colour and is worn. The weight is 25.98 mm tall, 23.21 mm tapering to 11.45 mm in diameter and weighs 55.1g. A lead plug, or pot mend for a ceramic vessel, the surviving pot looks to be mid-late medieval sandy-shelly ware (1250-1300 AD). On one side is a flat irregular round surface measuring 22.16 mm by 19.60 mm. On the other side is a smaller oval plug 25.42 mm by 23.37 mm. The object weighs 37.0g. Pot mends used melted lead to fill holes in damaged ceramic vessels, allowing the lead to overlap the broken edges.
