A complete post-Medieval sheet silver cuff link element (1720-1800).
The single cuff link element is octagonal in plan, convex at the front and concave at the rear. The edges are down-turned at an angle of about 80°.There is an engraved octagonal border with slightly scalloped sides. In the centre is a rose with four main petals alternately with four smaller petals or calyx. The centre of the flower is circular and cross-hatched.
Diameter: 14.9mm; thickness: 5.0mm. Weight: 1.56g.
The element is a silvery grey.

An incomplete post-Medieval cast copper-alloy hooked strap fitting (c. 1500-c. 1700).
The plate is slightly convex at the front and slightly concave at the rear. At the top the corners are rounded in plan. In plan, the sides of the plate taper inwards towards the upper part of the hook (the lower part is missing). Along the longitudinal centre-line of the plate are two empty rivet holes.
This fitting is reddish brown with iron staining and the break is abraded.
Height: 28.3mm; width: 11.4mm; thickness: 2.8mm. Weight: 2.26g.

A complete Late Neolithic polished flint axehead (3300 BC-2200 BC).
This axehead is in perfect condition and has no breaks. It is sub-triangular in plan, pointed-oval in side view and cross-section. Both faces while largely polished retain some evidence of flaking. One face is flatter than the other. In plan, the butt is rounded and slightly pointed and the cutting edge is evenly curved. There are patches of white cortex on both faces, some of which has also been polished. On both faces, closer to the butt end, there are areas of gloss.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy pin or stud of Roman date. It has a large and globular, dome-shaped head with slightly flattened underside. From the centre of the back face extends the integral shaft, which is circular in section with a slight neck where shaft and head meet, tapering to a curving point. The entire object measures 25.31mm in length, 7.78mm in diameter at head, 3.26mm in diameter at shaft, and 2.58g in weight. This is a copper-alloy pin or stud similar to examples from Colchester (Crummy, 1983: no. 2995). It is of Roman date, c.43-410 AD

A Medieval (1200-1400) copper alloy and silvered/ tinned bar-mount from a belt with central and terminal lobes and separate loop. Measures 22.20x10.04x5.45mm and weighs 1.37g. Without the loop, the bar-mount is 18.21mm in length.
The two terminal lobes are solid (c.5x1mm), both retaining a c.1mm diameter rivet at the centre. The central lobe is hollow to the reverse and domed to the front, and vertically faceted to give three faces.
Attached to one of the rivets is a sheet metal loop, 12.55mm in length and bent back on itself (originally the strip would have been c.24mm in length). …
